A popular hotel Marina Bahia Cabana Beach Resort, located across the street from the ocean in Fort Lauderdale is waiting for a complete redevelopment. Owner of Resort Randolph Equity Partners Inc. announced his plans for global restructuring and expansion of the complex, which will cost him $160 million.
Particularly, a new project involves elite-class residential units’ construction.
112 luxury apartments will be located in a modern 36-storey tower offering its residents breathtaking views of the ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway, as well as amenities and world-class service.
The famous Bahia Cabana resort is a popular entertainment spot both for locals and tourists. During the annual Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show it turns into epicenter of activity. Today the hotel building comprises only 70 rooms.
After rebuilding the Bahia Cabana Beach Resort will include a hotel with 196 rooms, condominium with lux-class residences, a restaurant, shops, art galleries and a harbor offering marinas and an opportunity to dine on the water. Meanwhile two adjacent plots will be attached to the resort’s territory.
